Meet the team

Antoinette is the CEO and Master Hair Designer/Stylist for Renaissance Hair Salon. She has been a Licensed Cosmetologist since 1983 and brings an international platform of mastery in Salon Management, Hair Styling, and professionalism to Renaissance. A beauty aficionado whose passion for working with her clients to create flattering appearances that highlight their best features, Antoinette has distinguished herself as a sought after Master Colorist and Designer.

Prior to creating Renaissance Hair Salon, Antoinette practiced cosmetology in professional establishments such as The Main Switch & Xclusive Beauty Salon where she built large clienteles (of all ethnicities) and trained promising stylists on technique and business development. Those professional experiences also helped Antoinette to develop expertise in Hair Restoration & Growth – a skill that she affectionately refers as “Antoinette’s Hair Liberation Theology” – she is an expert at growing hair and encourages her clients to “celebrate their crowning glory!”

With family members who encouraged her artistic expression from a very early age, it was no surprise to them that Hylda chose Cosmetology as a way of sharing her gift of creativity with the world! Hylda’s professional hairstyling experience spans approximately two decades, and reflects a high degree of mastery in coloring, cutting, styling, keratin treatments, hair extensions, and artful hair weaving. Throughout her career, she has distinguished herself amongst her peers by mastering holistic techniques that have nurtured her clients hair back to “great health & great length.”

This very soft-spoken professional is sought after by many clients who are eager to try a “new look” or for modest enhancements in their image. Always, a consummate professional, Hylda’s skills are a great complement to Renaissance Team, and her warm Caribbean personality adds charm and “flavor” to the Salon’s atmosphere everyday.

Cos-Com Art Institute, Port Au Prince, Haiti – Graduated 1997 with a National Cosmetology License

Karleen has had a passion for the hair and beauty industry most of her adult life. As a perpetual student and practitioner, she continues to update her education and strives to stay on the forefront of the industry all while providing excellent and complete client satisfaction. Karleen is a graduate of the Paul Mitchell School of Cosmetology, and she has been a Licensed Cosmetologist since 2010.

Karleen has an innate gift for doing hair and she specializes in kids and teenagers hair styling , Hair extensions, Keratin Treatments, Men’s Cuts with Shears and Clippers Over Comb. Her customer service skills are impeccable from her signature consultations to her finished product. Karleen’s clients all agree that she is always willing to go above and beyond.
